Grossmont College student-athlete checklist:
1. RECEIVE A GROSSMONT COLLEGE REGISTRATION DATE
The fall 2018 class schedule is posted online, and registration for student-athletes began Tuesday, June 19th at 8:00 a.m.
2. COMPLETE GROSSMONT COLLEGE'S ONBOARDING PROCESS
The onboarding proccess includes application, orientation, assessment, and placement, education plan, registration and payment. Most of these steps can be completed online!

3. MEET WITH A GROSSMONT COLLEGE COUNSELOR TO RECEIVE A COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATION PLAN
In order to be eligible for fall/winter sports participation, every student-athlete must have a Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP) on file. A Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP) is a roadmap that you and your counselor create together to achieve your goals. It will contain all your courses by term necessary for completing your program of study, transfer and career objectives.
For a CEP, student-athletes can schedule an appointment or walk-in during the summer (6/4-8/3) with the Grossmont College Counseling Center.

STUDENT-ATHLETES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SCHEDULING HIS/HER OWN CLASSES for fall 2018 via Grossmont College's WebAdvisor website.

5. COMPLETE A SPORTS PRE-PARTICIPATION PHYSICAL
Fall and winter sports physicals are to be held August 1, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Grossmont College in room 41-117. Please come prepared, with the Physical Screening Packet completed! For any questions, please contact head athletic trainer Chris Ray at firstname.lastname@example.org.
6. ATTEND A STUDENT-ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY MEETING PRIOR TO THE DATE OF FIRST CONTEST
Student-athletes, new and returning, must attend at minimum of one eligibility meeting prior to the first date of his/her sport's first contest. These eligibility meetings are scheduled by the athletics office and are communicated to the student-athletes by their sport's head coach.
