The Grossmont College Athletic Department provides student-athletes with the opportunity to participate in intercollegiate sports at the highest level of performance, with excellent coaching inside of a comprehensive academic curriculum. 

The goal of the Athletic Department is to enhance student achievement in athletic participation and academic preparation for life.

With 17 sports teams offered as of 2018, we've had our share of success including numerous team and individual national championships,  Conference championships and All-American selections. Student-athletes have competed as Griffins since 1961.
