APRIL BRINGS HOME GRIFFIN ATHLETIC EVENTS

Grossmont College hosts athletic events every day during the week of April 1.

Monday, April 1 finds softball with a home match versus San Bernardino Valley College beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 2 hosts conference competitor *Southwestern baseball versus our very own Griffins at 1:00 p.m at Grossmont College. This is the start of the three game series between the Griffins and Jaguars.

The same day (April 2) the GC women's tennis team travels to *College of the Desert to chase its seventh consecutive conference championship at 2:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 3 has men's volleyball, women's badminton and softball competing on Griffin turf. Men's volleyball plays conference rival *Miramar at 7:00 p.m. and women's badminton plays conference leader *Irvine Valley at 2:00 p.m. Softball plays home at 3:00 p.m. versus *College of the Desert.

Thursday, April 4 showcases men's tennis at 2:00 p.m. versus *SD Mesa.

Friday, April 5 is another women's badminton match in the Grossmont gymnasium versus *SD Mesa, 1:00 p.m. Baseball wraps up campus events Friday at 2:00 p.m. against *Southwestern, for the third game of its series with the Jaguars.

Men's and women's swim and dive travel to Riverside City for a mini meet, and beach volleyball (ranked #2 in the state!) competes in a round robin at *San Diego Mesa College against the Olympians and Roadrunners (*COD).

The only home match on Saturday, April 6 is baseball versus L.A. Mission at 1:00 p.m.
