Grossmont travels to Imperial Valley for 83 – 64 win

Having just played San Diego City on Monday and set to play Miramar on Friday the Wednesday charter bus was a nice change of pace provided by Athletic Director Jason Allen. Pre-game meal, charter bus and a relaxing trip set the tone for this game. Playing excellent defense Grossmont led 34-26 at the half. The second half saw a 15 point lead cut to 8 and then the size of the Griffins took over as they outscored the Desert Warriors 49-38. The Griffins again showed a balanced approach as 10 players scored led by sophomore forwards Zeid Salem's 14 points, and freshman Anthony Reavis' 20 points. Kimo Gaddah grabbed a season high 10 rebounds.
